For virtual reality to stick, universities need meaningful classroom content

To scale virtual- and augmented-reality education efforts, some universities are building teams of coders and designers to create software. Experts told EdScoop that not every aspect of a course lends itself to VR, and instead instructors and tech leaders can focus on using the technology to allow students to visit places out of their reach or explore subjects in new ways, like zooming around a giant virtual protein structure. CSU adds additional cohort for 'student success analytics' certificate

California State University is opening up another cohort for its student success analytics certificate after 500 people signed up this spring. The program's leaders said that many teams of participants are now using the certification as a way to move forward student success and data initiatives on their campuses. Emily explains.
