Freshmen enrolling in college during the pandemic have an alternative

Higher education company Verto Education announced the launch of a new program designed to blend online and in-person learning specifically targeted to college freshmen seeking an alternative to enrolling in a traditional university during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program, called Global Impact Year, allows college freshmen to learn critical thinking and life skills at a lower cost than the traditional average cost of education, the company says.
