You can now pay for Wharton in bitcoin

Students taking a certificate program at the University of Pennsylvania's business school can now pay their tuition in cryptocurrency, according to an announcement from the school. The decision makes the Wharton School the first program at an Ivy League institution or business school to accept cryptocurrency as a payment option for the program. The certificate in blockchain economics costs about $3,800, or roughly six percent the value of one bitcoin. Emily Bamforth has all the details.

Microsoft aims to halve cybersecurity worker shortage through community colleges

Microsoft is partnering with community colleges to train cybersecurity workers, aiming to cut an estimated jobs shortage in half by 2025, the company announced on Thursday. The corporation announced it’s is offering money, free LinkedIn premium memberships and resources from the coding repository website Github as part of a new cybersecurity scholarship program. About 10,000 scholarships are designated for low-income students at community colleges through a Last Mile Education Fund partnership. Emily has it.
